Is The Truth Out There?
I saw someone told you to remember a quote for the movie, now i'm telling you to remember, "Does he need to bite you on the ass before you get it??" for Season 6. I know it's a long way off, but you totally get this show already and you're gonna laugh when you see what we're talking about!

I’m…genuinely quite worried as to how this pays off. I mean…no, I’m not even going to speculate. ;)

Where are you from Celia? :)

Ha! I’m assuming this is in response to my paranoid predatory animals rant in the last review? ^^

Either way, I’m from the south of England. I’d rather not go into more specifics than that, since y’know, this is the internet and all. But yeah, I tend to get a little nervous about other countries because there’s so little in the way of natural dangers here. No volcanoes, very few earthquakes or extreme weather, no predators bigger than a fox…no genetic mutants that can squeeze down your chimney and eat your liver either, as far as I know. You’re rarely more than a few miles from the nearest McDonalds.

…it’s possible I’m getting a rather warped view of the US from watching this show. ;)

About Miracle Man. You know, when I saw this episode for the first time I thought: Little green men are risible, but an invisible guy floating in the sky isn't, Scully? Really?. It's so frustrating, and it WILL be addressed in the future, and maybe you'll be screaming at Scully in your head HYPOCRITE! like I did, but we'll see. And you'll see that you and Mulder will have similar views in this. ;)

Hmmm, yeah I’m definitely waiting for a little more context to this. I agree with you though - it’s not so much that she believes in God…it’s that she’s so openly dismissive of Mulder’s beliefs, (even when presented with quite overwhelming evidence) when she herself has a similar belief in something that can never be proven.

We’ll see anyway. I’m interested to see if God is presented as a real and tangible force in this show, as aliens clearly are, and I’m SURE when this comes up later I’ll be talking about it some more, so I’ll leave it at that for now. :)

I love reading your reviews! There's a lot coming that I think you're going to really like.

Yay! I’m pretty excited to get near the end of season one! It’s gotta end on a bang, right?? DON’T TELL ME THOUGH. ;)

About E.B.E. Man, I cannot wait until you get to the first movie! Long time to go but still these words "He clearly needs her to keep him grounded" you need to remember, because you're SO getting it!

Oh hey, I forgot about the movie! I literally have no idea what it’s about either. Maybe I should liveblog it or something? Mind you, it’s between seasons 5 and 6, or so I’m told, so it’s a long way off yet…

Those three lovely gentlemen from E.B.E are, in the order of your pictures: John Fitzgerald Byers, Richard Langley, and Melvin Frohike. Like everyone else in this show they are usually referred to by their last names. Collectively they're referred to as "The Lone Gunmen" or "The Gunmen". Fun fact - the title of their newsletter (The Lone Gunman) is taken from conspiracy theories surrounding the Kennedy Assassination.

So a bunch of people hastened to tell me the names of ‘The Lone Gunmen’, making me SUPER EXCITED because this means they must come back right???

Cheers to everyone who messaged me about this!

Ask me anything!
